Mike Sherbun

Career

Mike Sherbun has spent 37 years at the front lines of human behavior, working with children, adolescents, families, organizations, and professionals through emotionally charged situations. His career spans program direction, leadership, hospital administration, and healthcare executive roles, culminating in the creation of The Navigator, a training and consulting company focused on behavioral communication and de-escalation. He has completed over 150 school trainings on managing challenging behaviors and is a national author on burnout prevention.

Early life

Grew up outside of Chicago on a farm where he learned a strong work ethic. His father was a social worker working with youth, which influenced Michael's professional career in adolescent mental health and eventually led to hospital management, public speaking, and writing.
